Happy Home is proudly collecting donations for the victims of the floods in the Philippines which has claimed nearly 1000 lives and has left the Philippines in national calamity.

Happy Home is a domestic recruitment agency and the majority of our candidates come from the Philippines with many having families still living there and we think it's only right to give back to those who have worked so hard for us throughout the years.

We are asking you to give a donation no matter how big or small to aid those affected by the terrible floods, in hope to provide support to those who need it most.

Cheeky Monkies Tea Party

Remember Christmas 2010? When we decorated cookies for charity at the NCT Christmas fare? Yes! Well we did it again for the NCT Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party hosted by NCT at The Park Club. This time we got children to decorate lollipop cookies.

Renata and I made a total of 80 cookies for the children to decorate with yummy treats such as marsh mellows, smarties and hundreds of thousands.

Although it was very windy and we had issues with items being blown away from our tables children flocked to us to decorate these yummy cookies. Once the cookies were decorated we packaged them away for the children to take home so it didn't interfere with their dinner or to give to their Daddies.

We were very pleased with the afternoon and raised considerably more for the NCT than last time!

Candidates Favourite Agency!

When we decided to do the agency survey we thougt it would be a good idea to find out which agency candidates favoured. We know many of the candidates we have use other agencies so we thought we'd get some interesting results. We sent the survey to all the candidates that have ever registered with us, whether they ende up using us or not, and we got a fair response. We asked candidates what agency was their favourite and asked them why. We listed 8 agencies which are based in London including ourselves. From the results we have gained we are very proud to annouce that candidates favourite agency is.......................................
HAPPY HOME STAFF LTD

We came in on top with a massive 45.5% of the vote!

Here are some of the reasons why candidates favour us.............

"I have been introduced by a friend and she recommended the agency as the best one"

"They are very kind, look after very well the employees and try best to find a job"

"They are the only one who really paid attention to what I'm saying"

"I have had a good experience with this agency. I have been to this agency in connection with my job and it showed me direction"

"Happy Home Staff pay rate is good, they pay on time, they have monthly meetings, they give time to their employees and understand everything, which is very good, they send emails about new jobs and I really enjoyed my job with this agency. Thanx to Happy Home"

"Even that you did not get a job for me, you are very friendly, something that is very important to make people feel good"

We are very pleased that our candidates feel this way about us and we are going to continue and improve our service!

Agency Survey Results!

For a few weeks we saw a drop in the amount of applicants applying for our jobs so we thought we would investigate. We put together a survey of questions asking candidates how they look for jobs, their experience with agencies, what days of the week they look for jobs and so on. We put this together so we can find out the best way to target candidates and we got some interesting results. We sent the survey to every candidate who has ever registered with us ranging from not suitable to placed candidates. Of course not everyone completed the survey but we did get a fair amount of people who took part. We found out that candidates are still mostly looking for jobs through agencies but they found their last or current jobs through friends who have recommended them to families. Although many candidates rated their experience with agencies as excellent most of them rated their experience as good. Which is making us think of ways we could make their experiences different. We have always thought that candidates looked for jobs over the weekend and have mainly advertised every Friday. From the candidates who completed the survey the results show that Monday is the most popular day for searching for jobs with Saturday coming a close second. Our results show that Sunday is the least popular day for searching for jobs. We already knew that candidates recommend friends for jobs and to join agencies, our results showed that this is correct. Interestingly candidates also recommend families to join agencies to search for employees. With candidates recommending friends and families they have worked for to join agencies there seems to be a lot of work to be done all round to attract candidates and make their experiences better. It has given us food for thought! Watch this space for the results of candidates favourite agency!

Happy Home Testimonials

Over the last couple of weeks we have received some nice testimonials from our Clients and Candidates and we thought we'd share the love.......

From Clients......................

"Thank you so much, we are delighted. Thank you for all your help. We have, again, been terribly impressed with your efficiency, professionalism and commitment"

"Thank you for all your previous help. It has always been a pleasure talking to you and you have always been so helpful in trying to find me help."

"As you know, I initially contacted your agency because it offers CRB checks on nannies even when those nannies have been found privately and not through Happy Home Staff.

When discussing matters with you you provide some useful advice and kindly offered to send (and did send) details of some of the nannies who are on your books. Those nannies' details all looked impressive but, as I have managed to find a nanny privately this weekend, we do not need to interview any of them.

Nevertheless, I wish to thank you for your efforts and to praise the level of service. My wife has had dealings with some other agencies who were far less efficient. Should we need an agency to help find us a nanny I would have no hesitation in contacting you" - Dated 15/08/2011

"Thank you so much for finding me Cecilia and for all your support it's been lovely to work with you# - Dated 23/08/2011

From Candidates................

"I love your Agency - and I can see why you have made it so successful!!"

"I would love to come and meet you but I'm am working until late. I really want to meet you because you were very nice and helpful on the phone. From you i've never heard i'm in competition with much more experienced people like other agencies told me. Thank You!"

It's always good to hear something nice so we will keep you posted with anymore.
